How to host and book an event

  1. Look up the package choices and select your choice. For custom events call or email me directly.

  2. Call your potential invitees and fix a date. Secure your guest list for the event.

  3. Book the event with Wine Services by Heather and make your confirmed selection from our current offerings. Look up the package you want and book from that page.
  4. An electronic invitation will be generated and sent to all invitees. This will include all the details regarding the wine tasting and convenient method of payment. If the host is paying, we will omit the payment information.

  5. I bring the wine as a gift to the host. I will also bring stemware, decanters, ice, ice buckets, bread, and tasting sheets.

  6. The host only needs to supply water and water glasses. You may want snacks as well.

  7. I blend educational tasting with a relaxed event feel. The tasting should last one and a half hours. Ideally we would be seated at a table with all the wines pre-poured. I will discuss the room layout with the host to accommodate the best arrangement.

  8. Let your guests know they should have a designated driver or taxi. Please do not drink and drive.
